Constructed during the Ayutthaya period (1351–1767), originally known as Wat Salak, Wat Maha That Yuwarat Rangsarit Ratchaworamahawihan (วัดมหาธาตุยุวราชรังสฤษฎิ์) is one of Bangkok’s most important royal temples, located in the historic Rattanakosin district near the Grand Palace. It is a first‑class royal temple of the ratchaworamahawihan grade and today serves as a center for Buddhist learning, meditation, and ceremonies, offering both cultural heritage and spiritual practice opportunities.
