Wat Bang Na is an exquisite temple with a vibrant gilded façade, built in 1767.It is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River and has its own ferry pier. The temple houses a remarkable golden statue of a seated Buddha in the Palilaika pose (the pose of accepting offerings from an elephant and a monkey). Also on the grounds are two ancient chedis with recessed bases and a Mon-style swan-shaped column.
