Wat Sommanat Ratchaworawihan is a historic temple in Bangkok, founded by King Mongkut in 1856. It is distinguished by its unique double-layered wall, which allowed for undisturbed religious ceremonies. At the center of the temple is a large golden stupa containing relics of Buddha, as well as a Sri Lankan-style stupa. The main hall features stucco pediments bearing the royal monogram.
