First-class royal temple located just south of the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan, more commonly known as Wat Pho, is one of Bangkok's most famous temples, classified as one of the six highest grade royal temples in Thailand and is renowned for housing the giant Reclining Buddha and for being the birthplace of traditional Thai massage.
