Inaugurated in 1993 and stretched about 1.6 km through the villages of Hang Mei Tsuen, Hang Tau Tsuen, and Sheung Cheung Wai, Ping Shan Heritage Trail is a captivating journey through Hong Kong’s New Territories, offering a rare glimpse into centuries-old village life and traditional Chinese architecture. It’s the first heritage trail established in Hong Kong. (Most sites are accessible during daylight hours, but key buildings have specific times: Monday to Wednesday, Friday to Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and closed on Thursdays and public holidays)
