Mangal Mahadev Birla Kanan is one of Delhi’s most striking Shiva temples, inaugurated in 1994 on Maha Shivaratri in the presence of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The temple complex is designed as a spiritual garden, featuring towering statues of Lord Shiva, Shri Ram–Janki, and Radha–Krishna. Unlike traditional temples, it emphasizes open spaces and landscaped greenery, with Tulsi, Peepal, Mango, and Banana trees creating a serene environment. The highlight is the colossal Shiva statue (85–100 ft high), visible from afar and serving as a landmark near Aerocity.
