Dedicated to Lord Ganesha (Vinayagar), Sri Senpaga Vinayagar Temple is one of Singapore’s oldest Hindu temples, dates back to the 1850s when a statue of the deity was discovered near a pond under a champak tree (“Senpaga” in Tamil), a vibrant cultural and religious center managed by the Singapore Ceylon Tamil Association.
